Early Childhood Education Students Support Resource Fair
Morganton, NC –Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) Early Childhood Education (ECE) students participated recently in the Burke County Library’s third annual Festival and Resource Fair. The students, who are members of the program’s Exploration Activities and Language/Literacy Experiences classes, provided interactive activities including math games and flannel board stories. The ECE program also provided a display board of information, complete with photos, an outline of the program of study, and brochures. Highlights of this nationally-accredited program include certificate as well as degree options, instruction offered in various formats to meet student needs, service learning and practicum opportunities. Other program resources include an outdoor learning environment used for instructional purposes, and an early childhood textbook lending library.
