The Financial Aid Office will send all notifications (requests for missing items, award letters, etc.) electronically.  Students MUST check campus email or Pioneer Pass accounts to see what items are needed by the Financial Aid Office or to see award letters.  Where to look in Pioneer Pass?

The primary purpose of the WPCC Financial Aid Office is to provide financial assistance to those students, who without such assistance would be unable to attend WPCC.  Financial aid is awarded on a first come – first served basis.

The financial aid office participates in a variety of financial aid programs.  Scholarships and grants are gift awards which do not have to be repaid.  Loans and work study are considered self help aid since repayment or performance of duties are required.    

Refund/Disbursement Dates

Financial Aid balances remaining after tuition, fees and bookstore charges have been deducted will be mailed to students on the following dates:

WPCC will mail refund checks to the student’s address listed with the Records Department.  If your address has changed since you filled out an Application for Admission to WPCC, you should update your address immediately.

For students who apply later in the semester, refund check availability will be determined by when the students financial aid application is complete.

Office Hours

The Financial Aid Office is open to serve students during the following hours:

• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• 8:00 am until 7:00 pm every Tuesday. 

Students are not required to make appointments.  With rare exceptions, a Financial Aid Counselor is always available during posted office hours.
