Personal Enrichment

The Division of Workforce and Professional Development offers a variety of community service courses, activities, and events for personal enrichment and leisure skills or cultural, economic, and civic improvement.

Signing Up for a Personal Enrichment Class

Continuing Education classes offered through our Workforce and Professional Development Division, have a pre-registration policy, with the exception of Fire/Rescue, EMT/EMS, Law Enforcement, HRD and CTP program areas. You must register and pay any registration fees two business days/48 business hours prior to the start date of the class.  For example, if the class starts on Monday, the last day to register is Thursday. For information, please contact our Records and Registration Department at (828) 448-6046.

  2. Walk-in registration held on Tuesdays, 8:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. in Hildebrand Hall, Main Campus; or

Note:  All classes are self-supporting. Self-supporting classes are classes not supported by state dollars. All costs associated with these classes are paid through student registration fees.
