WPCC offers a variety of classes for professional training along with personal advancement and enjoyment both in seated classes and online through ed2go. These classes are designed to accommodate busy lifestyles and provide opportunities to quickly get skills or explore interests.

New In-Person Registration Hours
You can also register and pay in person for Continuing Education and Workforce Development classes with Yvette Logan in Hildebrand Hall, Room 100E [map]. Yvette will be available for registrations Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Remember, you need to register for classes prior to the class start date (preferably 48 hours prior), allowing time for all payments to process before the class begins.

Purchasing a new computer or tablet? Upgrading your Windows 7 or 8.1 computer to Windows 10? Explore the new Windows 10 user interface including the new Start Menu that includes a combination of traditional Windows programs, apps, tiles and live tiles. Use the updated Task Bar that allows access to the new Windows Search, Task View and Cortana, your new digital assistant. Find out what familiar features have changed or been replaced and what favorites are still available. Sync all your data instantly to the newly updated Microsoft OneDrive and navigate the new Microsoft Edge browser that replaces Internet Explorer. This two week course is designed for the individual who is unfamiliar with the computer and has never taken a computer class. Class will cover basic computer skills that will allow you to practice and understand how to use and navigate a personal computer. (4 sessions) - Meeting 2 times a week for total of 10 hours. This class will provide an overview of the newest version of Microsoft Office. The first session will provide an overview on the different versions available. The second session will cover many of the new applications. The last two sessions will focus on Microsoft Word 2016 and Microsoft Excel. Learn what’s new and how to use Microsoft’s latest versions of its most popular office software within the Windows 10 environment. Knowledge of Windows 8/10 is required. Instructor: James O. Arney
This course is designed to help you master your iPhone and iPad. Learn how to connect your device to iTunes, wifi and Bluetooth. We will explore using and setting up email accounts including: sending and receiving emails and working with attachments. You will gain a better understanding of all the basic features and Apps that your device has to offer! You will even learn how to customize your device to best suit your needs. As an added bonus, I will teach you how to troubleshoot your own iPhone or iPad when an issue occurs. iPads/iPhones must be provided by student(s). Instructor Amy Greene

Learn to use the basic features of Word 2013. Discover the basics of creating, editing and formatting documents, formatting text and paragraphs, and creating and formatting tables. Students should have some previous computer experience. This 5 hour class is meets Tuesday and Thursday.
