Can I do everything online?
Orientation and testing sessions, GED testing
registration, and the GED exams are only offered on campus. However, all
the instruction and study that would normally require you to attend class will
be done online.
Is
distance learning right for you?
Take this short quiz to find out if
you are an appropriate candidate for working online.

Cost
The cost of the GED program is $7.50 payable when you
register for your first official GED exam. There is no additional cost for working online!
In fact, you will save
money by eliminating most transportation costs.

Books
Do you have to buy a book?
You do not
have to buy a book. However, there are excellent books by Contemporary,
Steck-Vaughn, and others such as:
GED: The Complete Book, McGraw-Hill Contemporary Publishing, 2001
which can be found at
http://shop.mhcontemporary.com.
Try working online for a while and then deciding if you need a book.
Contemporary's GED: The Complete Book is all
new for the 2002 GED exam This text is a complete and comprehensive study of all
areas of the GED exam that provides hundreds of effective activities, engaging
lessons, pre-tests, post-tests, and much more. The Social Studies and Science
pre- and post-tests contain COLOR GRAPHICS to properly simulate the actual GED
exam.
The Learning Lab is in Moore Hall (MH),
