Nurse Aide II
Requirements:

Listing as a Nurse
Aide I.

Active CPR certifications.

Six months working experience
as a Nurse Aide I.

Letter of recommendation from
immediate supervisor.
Phlebotomy
Requirements:

Copy of valid driver's license and Social
Security card with matching names.

Copy of High school diploma or GED.

Only the first 30 on the list will be admitted
to the course.

May 19 – Aug 18, 2008, Mon / Wed,
from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.
Since January 2006, all Nursing Assistant I and
Nursing Assistant II courses have been administered by the
WPCC Division of Health Sciences. Changes were made to the
entrance requirements for Nursing Assistant.
Changes to the Nursing
Assistant Entrance Requirements:
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
Ninth grade reading level score on the TABE test.
-
Current and valid certification in basic cardiac life
support (CPR).
In addition to the above changes, all JCAHO
accredited clinical agencies now require a criminal
background check for all Allied Health students
prior to beginning the clinical practicum. The
cost of the criminal background check is the
student's responsibility. Additional
information regarding the criminal background check
process is explained at the start of each nursing
assistant course.
