Interest-Free Monthly Payment Plan

To help you meet your educational expenses, Western Piedmont Community College is proud to offer a convenient monthly Tuition Payment Plan from Nelnet Business Solutions. The monthly payment plan is not a loan program or financial aid. There are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The only requirement is a minimum balance due of $100. There are two payment options:

  • Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) – ACH payments are those payments you have authorized Nelnet to process directly with your financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have pre-approved for your tuition and fees at Western Piedmont Community College. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account. Payments are processed on the 5th of each month as designated by the payment schedule. Check with your bank regarding savings accounts being used.
  • Credit Card Payment – Paying with your credit card gives you the option of taking advantage of any bonus programs that may be offered by your credit card company. Your monthly payment will be automatically charged to the credit card you designate. Payments will be charged on the 5th of each month as designated by the schedule below.

Convenient Online Enrollment for Payment Options

Connecting online is simple, secure, and easy. Enroll in the Tuition Payment Plan online and follow the instructions. To protect your privacy, you will need to create your own unique Access Code. Be sure to have the following information:

  • Student ID Number as assigned by Western Piedmont Community College.
  • The name, address, and e-mail address of the person responsible for making the payments.
  • Account information for the person responsible for payment.
  • If paying by automatic bank payments, you will need the bank name, telephone number, account number, and the bank routing number. Most of this information is located on your check.

Before you click the “Submit” button, please carefully read through the Final Review and the Terms and Conditions.  Please print your confirmation for your records.  An immediate e-mail will be sent (if an e-mail address was provided) confirming enrollment through Nelnet.

Down payments or enrollment fees returned for any reason will result in termination of your Payment Plan agreement by Nelnet, and you must pay in full.

Fees

Fees – The cost to budget your interest-free monthly payment plan is a $25 per semester, nonrefundable enrollment fee that is charged by Nelnet to use their service.  A $30.00 fee will be assessed for each returned payment.

NOTE: Please do not assume your balance will automatically be adjusted if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added. You are still obligated for payments. You should notify the Western Piedmont Community College Business Office of any changes at (828) 448-3106.
