Upgrading the skills of persons presently employed, and retraining others for new employment in occupational fields.

Occupational Extension classes are designed for the specific purposes of training an individual for full or part-time employment. The Continuing Education Division works with a variety of North Carolina State Boards to ensure that Burke County citizens receive necessary training locally.

CEUs are given for the successful completion of Occupational Extension courses.
