The Associate Degree Nursing curriculum prepares individuals
with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing
care to clients and groups of clients throughout the
lifespan in a variety of settings. Courses will include
content related to the nurse’s role as Provider of Nursing
Care, Manager of Care, Member within the Discipline of
Nursing. Graduates of this program are eligible to apply to
take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN)
which is required for practice as a Registered Nurse.
Special admission requirements apply to this program.
With the ADN degree from Western Piedmont Community College,
you are eligible to continue your education at colleges and
universities, which offer a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
