The Civil Engineering Technology curriculum
provides specialized background and related
theory for technicians who work primarily with
engineers in the field of construction. The
curriculum also provides the training needed by
technicians to carry out planning and
supervisory tasks in construction and
transportation systems, residential and
commercial buildings, bridges, dams, and water
and wastewater treatment systems.
Graduates of the curriculum should
qualify for technician level jobs with both
public and private engineering, construction and
surveying agencies.
